Love, Jenny!

Last year, I had the opportunity to review a pair of CozyPhone headband headphones. We loved them! When we went on our road trip to Disneyland, we took the CozyPhones and a pair of traditional headphones that Hubby had bought Emma for Christmas. Guess which ones she wore? Only the super cozy, doesn’t-hurt-your-ears-or-head, can-lay-your-head-down, not-bulky CozyPhones! They were a road trip lifesaver! So when the people at CozyPhones offered to let me try out their new CozyCase tablet bag, I jumped at the chance!

I’m gonna be honest . . . I am very much one of those parents that uses the tablet to keep my child quiet and entertained on road trips. It saves our sanity and keeps her from feeling like it’s “the worst day ever” and constantly asking “Are we there yet?” And since we’re heading back to Disneyland again this fall, this time with both girls, I’m already starting to plan and prep to make this road trip as smooth as possible on everyone.

The CozyCase feature that I thought would be the most helpful during the long car ride is adjustable handles that allow you to literally clip the case to a headrest for easy tablet viewing. While Emma can hold and manage the tablet herself, Charlie is too young and would be pushing buttons all over the place! So I love that I can hook this on the headrest so she can see it, but it’s far enough away that she can’t touch it and mess something up.

Another feature I like is the stand. Pop it up and both of the girls can watch it at once, instead of one holding it in her lap while the other tries to look over her shoulder. This also means worries about it falling over and breaking if you lean it against something unstable. The viewing angle is adjustable, so you can set it up however works best for you.

The CozyCase says it works with most 10-inch tablets. Our Amazon Fire tablet is just over that at about 10.5″ and while it fits in the case, it takes a bit of work to get it in and out. This also leads to a bit of pulling, buckling, and sticking of the clear vinyl. But, while I found all that to be super noticeable when the tablet is off, when the tablet is on, it’s less so and doesn’t seem to impact the girls’ viewing pleasure. And, yes, the tablet’s touchscreen is still fully functional through the vinyl screen protector.

The CozyCase also has a pocket insert that can be removed if you want to, but I found it to be a great place to store the girls’ CozyPhones, so I can keep it all together. The CozyCase also zips up for tablet protection as well as easy transport and is . . . get this . . . washable!! Every parent’s favorite word! (Cuz we all know kids are MESSY!)

Overall, we’re happy with our CozyCase and are looking forward to taking it on our next road trip. Are you planning road trip soon? Grab yourself a CozyCase! They’re durable, affordable, and available on Amazon.
