After spending two crazy and fun-filled days at Disneyland & California Adventure, we decided, what better way to end our whirlwind trip than with a character breakfast? So before we started the drive home, we hopped over to the Disneyland Resort to fill our bellies at Goofy’s Kitchen.

Character Dining is when you get the opportunity to meet some of your favorite Disney characters, all while enjoying a delicious meal! These types of dining experiences are pricier than non-character Disneyland meals, but for us, it was worth the price. Reservations are highly encouraged and can be made up to 60 days in advance.

After checking in with the hostess for our reservation, we were ushered into a roped line to meet Chef Goofy himself!

After the hugs and pictures, we were seated and invited to enjoy the buffet. Ya’ll . . . this buffet was great! It was full of crazy (but delicious) concoctions like Peanut Butter Pizza and Mickey Mouse waffles, as well as more traditional breakfast fare like eggs, bacon, and pastries. There’s even a create-your-own omelet station! My personal favorite was the Country Breakfast Pizza (I went back for seconds).

While you’re dining, Goofy’s friends and roaming the dining room, stopping at every table to sign autographs and take pictures. We got to meet Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Minnie (which we were extra excited about since we’d missed her while at the parks). Emma loved it!

Emma loved getting to meet and interact with some of her favorite Disney characters and Hubby and I were very pleased with the selection of food available. Everything we tried was delicious!

While that breakfast was the most expensive meal we had while on our Disney adventure, Hubby and I agree that it was totally worth it and the best possible way to end our trip. Zero regrets. We’re going to end all our Disneyland trips with a character breakfast from now on!
