I have a toddler. And as I’m sure all you other toddler parents know (or remember), getting a toddler to eat is like pulling teeth. Oh the screaming and the crying! You’d think I was trying to torture her instead of keep her alive. And here, in our house, we have a rule that if you don’t eat your dinner (or at least most of it), you don’t get any treats. So, because toddler, the tiny human doesn’t often get treats. Which means whenever we have candy (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc) it takes forever to get rid of it!
With that in mind, when I was planning the girls’ Shimmer & Shine birthday party, I knew immediately that their piñata needed to contain much more than just candy! So I’ve put together a list of 30 non-candy piñata fillers you can use to fill your piñata, but not little bellies.
